The American Legion Auxiliary is pleased to present the ALA Call to Service Corps eNews, a regular newsletter featuring the accomplishments and impact of our Call to Service Corps.
The ALA Call to Service Corps annually enlists a group of talented and dedicated full-time AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps VISTA members to build the capacity of nonprofit military, veteran and civilian organizations, to increase their resources and services to those who are serving and have served our great nation. Currently, over 20 organizations receive AmeriCorps and VISTA members through the Call to Service Corps.
The Call to Service Corps is supported generously by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), a federal agency that administers the AmeriCorps, AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) and other national service programs. Additional information about CNCS may be found at www.nationalservice.gov.
